Community engagement
In addition to the nominated charities, Catlin staff across the UK are encouraged to get involved with a variety of community projects and individual fund-raising events.
Lloyd’s Community Programme
The Lloyd's Community Programme (LCP) was first established in 1989 to promote community involvement, both within the Corporation of Lloyd's and across the companies that form the Lloyd's community.
LCP's mission is to help improve the opportunities and environment of the people of Tower Hamlets and neighbouring East London boroughs by mobilising the support and involvement of individuals and companies working in the Lloyd's market.
Catlin has been working with the LCP for many years and is actively involved in a number of projects.
Annual children’s Christmas party
Each year Catlin holds a Christmas party for the children of Catlin people. The revenue from ticket sales goes directly to our nominated charities.
Employee volunteering
In order to encourage Catlin people to use their allocated day for charity work, Catlin is putting more effort into raising internal awareness of organised activities with our nominated charities and other organisations to which we lend our support.
